Webmaster's Note
We've gathered this information from various resources - mainly on the internet. We've used sites identified by key organisations including the DfCSF and DTI however we wish to point out that the views contained in these resources are not necessarily those of EBC, nor any of its partners.
The staff at the Community Foundation have been doing their best to reduce their carbon footprint whilst at work and in doing so have come across a great website that encourages you to "Do the Green Thing".
Do the Green Thing is a not for profit organisation that encourages people to do one green thing every month and calculates the amount of CO2 saved. So far over 100,000 from across the world have saved 2,800 tonnes of CO2. If you would like to get involved just visit www.dothegreenthing.com
We found a host of really exciting practical, fun-based activities when we visited the website of the National Science Museum. Here's a few to whet your appetite. For more log onto: www.sciencemuseum.org.uk
