Toni Jackson

Part time Administrator (WNF)

Qualifications and Experience

Toni joined EBC in 2009 after a spell with Victim Support as a part time care officer. 

Previously she had work for a number of organisations in sales, customer service and administration whilst she pursued part time studies.

She has joined EBC to support the delivery of its latest programme - Essential Steps to Employability - funded by Sunderland City Council through the Working Neighbourhoods Fund. 

Toni is currently studying a foundation degree in counselling having already secured a BA in Textiles and Surface Design trhrough Sunderland University.   She has also secured a Level 2 in Business Administration as well as A levels and a number  of GCSEs. 

During her university studies Toni gained a wide range of experience of working with vulnerable people through volunteering with Victim Support, the British Heart Foundation and Sunderland Counselling Service - which she still supports as a volunteer administrator/receptionist.

Responsibilities and areas of expertise

Toni is responsible for all aspects of administration including event preparation and key 'backroom' support for EBC's delivery of its latest programme - Essential Steps to Employability - funded by Sunderland City Council through the Working Neighbourhoods Fund.

Key Links and Contacts

Toni is part of the EBC staff team charged with delivering Essential Steps to Employability project, funded by Sunderland City Council through the Working Neighbourhoods Fund. 

In that role her key contacts include other projects delivering projects through Working Neighbourhoods Fund, in particular members of the Hanlon Users Group and key monitoring and programme staff within the City of Sunderland's WNF team. Other key contracts include third sector organisations working with vulnerable adults who need support to develop their employability skills and to take their first steps towards employment, education or training, the Open College Network and NCFE awarding bodies.
