Education Business Connections has an extensive range of partnerships with organisations across all sectors both at home and abroad.

Education Business Connections (EBC) supports the partnership working of schools, employers and the community.

We have a team of dedicated staff who deliver a wide range of work related learning and enterprise education programmes to people or all ages and abilities across Tyne and Wear and County Durham.

EBC's support for the Third Sector

EBC's commitment to ensuring the third sector continues and is reflected in its membership of Tyne and Wear Infrastructure Consortium (TWIC).

EBC was a founder member of the North East Third Sector Partnership (NETSP) which was set up to bring specialist organisations together to bid for public sector contracts.  Find out more by visiting our special NETSP page

You can also visit our Community Page to find out more about a range of programmes for adults, particularly those working in the community voluntary sector - whether as paid staff or as volunteers.  These include both accredited and non-accredited training and learning.

Supporting Skills Development

EBC is working in partnerships with a number of organisations across Sunderland to support people back into work, thanks to Sunderland City Council's Working Neighbourhoods Funding support.

EBC is an active membe of several consortia.  Together their members work to provide services and deliver activities across the region.

Sharing European expertise

EBC is closely linked to Riverside Consulting, which together with VONNE is delivering a Technical Assistance programme funded by Europe.
